Одной из причин резидуальной ротационной нестабильности у пациентов с разрывами передней крестообразной связки после идеально проведенной пластики является нелеченное повреждение антеролатеральной связки (АЛС) коленного сустава. Последние десятилетия в литературе широко обсуждаются вопросы анатомических особенностей АЛС, вклада ее повреждений в ротационную нестабильность коленного сустава, а также способы диагностики и лечения последней. Однако взгляды ученых на принципиальные вопросы, касающиеся анатомии и структурно-функциональных особенностей АЛС, а следовательно, на способы и целесообразность восстановления иногда диаметрально противоположны. Это приводит к неопределенности диагностических критериев и затрудняет выбор оптимальных способов лечения. Диагностика повреждений АЛС с помощью магниторезонансной томографии на сегодняшний день находится на грани своих возможностей. Нами установлены причины разногласий между исследователями в вопросах анатомии АЛС и оптимальных способов диагностики и лечения ее повреждений, а также предложены пути решения этих вопросов.
